In the latest version of Endpoint Admin, we’ve introduced several key enhancements aimed at improving the user experience and operational efficiency:
Primary User Intune Alignment
When devices are enrolled in Intune, the interactive user’s UPN (User Principal Name) automatically becomes the Primary User. However, the first user to log in may not always be the actual end-user. Recognizing that Microsoft currently lacks an option to change this dynamically, Endpoint Admin now provides a solution.
We’ve introduced a daily scheduled task that assigns the UPN of the last logged-on user as the Primary User, ensuring more accurate user alignment. You can activate this feature under Settings > Maintenance. Please note that you’ll need to update permissions via the integration page to enable this functionality.
Application/License Pricing in Shop
To enhance transparency in software procurement, you can now include pricing information for shop applications. This feature allows both end-users and approvers to view the cost of software before submitting a request.
This pricing information is displayed in the Shop, offering clear insight into the cost of applications or licenses prior to approval, making procurement decisions more informed and efficient.
You can configure this feature within the shop settings of each application or create custom Shopping Items.
